Give the title, author, publisher, copyright date, genre (how do you know the genre - from the back of the book, the title page, the text?), a description of the cover of the book, and the main character(s) you have met so far and on what page you first met them.
I'm reading MORE SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK by Alvin Schwartz. The publisher is Harper Collins. Copyright date is 1984. the genre is scary stories I know this because in the text it says that there was an accented and he/she doesn't know it's a ghost and in the picture it's look like a ghost. There dead people and fly animals in a room dead and laughing. The title tells me how scary it gonna be and most ghost in the book look scary like the one in front of the cover.
In the book chapter one Sunday morning the girl Ida always go to church on Sunday and she went one Sunday and she saw ghost and dead people in church.

Evelyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a good way to prove you know the genre - using what you read and a picture. Did the title page tell you anything?
Grade:4
It doesn't look like you and Leslie copied each other and that is good. I do think you should have talked to one another though. You have parts she doesn't have and she has what you don't. Together you have a good reponse - seperate you don't.
Presentation: If you look at our blogs, the first 3 sentences should be combined into one.
Spelling: accented - put this in dictionary.com and see if this is the word you wanted. I don't think so. You need to and 'ing' to fly.
Grammar; did you read this aloud??
Details: How do you know this genre is horror? Why are you and Evelyn reading this?
What is on the cover? Words? What colors are there? Is this cover scary or interesting?
What page did you meet each character on?
To get advanced: You really need to tell me what you think of the book, what is going on in the stories, and make a connection or something
